A meaningful life

All men seek a meaningful life with a sense of responsibility. The alternative to valued responsibility is impulsive low class pleasure. And social media has just exacerbated the visible manifestation of this deeply entrenched psycological principle in humans.

In economically developed societies as the social fabric disintegrates, consumerism takes over. With spirituality, moral values and religion almost extinct or if present, are there just for namesake, conditions become fertile for chaos to set in the human mind and the society at large.

With economic prosperity ensuring material needs are met without a struggle and absence of understanding of deeper meaning of life leads to a gaping void in life, the complete absence of any motivation to do anything worthwhile. Because nothing seems worthwhile. There is no valued responsibility in life.

And in absence of a meaningful goal, the human mind surrenders to the lowly tendencies of seeking impulsive low class pleasure. Which technology of today is very good at providing. As more and more of the society becomes a slave of its own lowly tendencies, the inner and outer world descends into chaos.
